Opportunity & Risk Assessment Services:

  • Opportunity assessment—Verdeo helps companies assess their current emissions to identify opportunities to save gas, increase profits and, in some cases, generate carbon credits.
  • Emissions Measurement—Verdeo helps firms assess emissions measurement technologies and third party solutions providers to identify the most appropriate measurement and monitoring solutions.
  • Project feasibility assessment—Verdeo evaluates various emission reduction and gas utilization projects to determine which projects are both technically and operationally feasible as well as financially attractive to develop.

Project Implementation Services:

  • Engineering and project design—Verdeo’s engineers work with customers to design solutions that maximize the value of methane emission reductions.
  • Project management—On behalf of customers, Verdeo oversees all project tasks from project design to vendor selection to project documentation to construction and final commissioning.
  • Environmental attribute monetization—At the request of customers, Verdeo will manage the origination, structuring and negotiation of transactions to sell RECs, carbon credits and other environmental attributes associated with the emission reduction projects.
  • GHG protocol development—Verdeo has worked closely with several certification bodies including the Climate Action Reserve, the American Carbon Registry, and the Voluntary Carbon Standard. Verdeo has proven experience developing protocols which enable customers to generate tradable carbon credits from emission reduction projects.
