Sindicatum’s nZEM platform is engaged in developing the world’s first near-zero methane emissions mining projects. The nZEM platform is staffed by a specialized, international coal mining engineering team that works with project owners to enhance gas drainage performance and mine safety. The team applies a holistic approach of maximizing gas capture, optimizing utilization of drained gas, flaring of surplus methane and destruction of VAM at the surface exhaust fans.
The world’s first nZEM project has been developed at the Duerping mine in China.
