Industrial processes produce large volumes of organic waste; for instance in the form of waste water, which Sindicatum utilizes to produce clean energy and other sustainable resources. Â Sindicatum produces biogas, for instance, from waste water produced by ethanol refineries; this gas can be used for process heat or power generation that can be used by the manufacturing facility or sold to the grid. Elsewhere, in India, a Sindicatum JV has developed a technology to produce biodiesel from various forms of waste produced by the edible oils industry.
