Bio-Resources

Sindicatum’s Bio-Resources projects extract value from organic material, whether through utilization of organic waste or derived from dedicated plantations.  Organic materials can be an extremely valuable source of energy.  When poorly managed as a waste, organic materials can contribute to global climate change, emitting substantial amounts of methane gas.  Sindicatum produces clean energy, biomass pellets, and other value added products, relying on long-term supply contracts or direct ownership of the production of the raw organic materials.

Recovery of sustainable resources from municipal, agricultural and industrial waste is being encouraged by the public, policy makers and regulators who will no longer accept the low management standards and environmental issues caused when wastes have been disposed of without regard to their inherent value or to their effect on local communities and the environment. Regarding the same material as a resource encourages inherently higher standards of management, which in turn reduces the impact of waste on local communities and the environment.

Organic material from dedicated plantations is an increasingly flexible and valuable resource.  Hardwood products can be used for building components. Softwood and other crops can be used for a variety of purposes, ranging from furniture to power generation.
